A average wholesale price of Sorghum across the monitored markets in the State
compared to last month (July) price was 11,406.00 SDG/sack which decreased by
48%, this can be attributed to the appearance of the new crop from local production.
- High cost of fuel had increased transportation costs of all food items from productive
areas to consumption areas, and hence negatively affected purchas
