Between January and March 2021, domestic prices for cereals, cash crops, and livestock products have followed upward trend in the three monitored markets (Damazine, Rosaires and Bout). Prices of agricultural products received support by 5 – 30 percent. Similar upward trend was observed in prices of essential food commodities, fish and livestock, which increased by 15 – 30 percent. Purchasing power decreased due to the increase in transportation costs despite of appearing of new crop.
